{New Goods For Sale!!}

It always amazes me how FAST things go once we put them up for sale!
So here we go again!!

We even had some items that didn't even make it to the blog,
they were sold before they were even finished!
And don't worry, if you have something your looking for give us a call or send an email,
we might just have it!
We do have a large number of items that are just not finished yet, these are our latest projects...

Black Table w/4 Chairs  Sold
This is a Solid Oak Pedestal Table, with 1 leaf, take the leaf out and it makes a circle, {pictures shown with leaf inserted.} The Chairs have been recovered in a heavy duty, soft burlap material, making them super easy to wipe off!

 Cast Iron Bench Sold
55in. long x 19 in. deep
This Beauty was originally a headboard and footboard, but with no way to attach it to a bed frame it was deemed useless... that is until we found her! We had our guys do a little cutting, hacking, and welding and we brought her back to life!
How great would she be on a front porch, or in a entryway? And the best part about her is she is only going to get better with age...

3 Drawer Dresser Sold
We might be a little bias, but we do believe this might be the perfect dresser. It could be used in so many ways, a changing table (we do have a cream covered changing pad available if interested for $25), or a entry table all decorated for the seasons, or even just a great dresser for any bedroom.
Its possibilities really are endless and not to mention timeless.

Dimensions 40 x 17 x 31.5

Rocker Sold
& End Table Sold
White wooden rocker and solid wood vintage end table.
(Accessories not for sale.)

{ Imagine how cute these would be in a nursery... aww.}

 Beautiful {one-of-a-kind} HUTCH Sold
This has literally been our "baby" for a long time now, if only you could have seen how far she has come!! Anyway, this beauty is defiantly worth the money, she is the only one like her around. Solid Oak, hand carved details, completely refurbished inside and out, make your mouth water goodness.  We replaced everything that needed to be replaced, her glass, hardware and even her cute little legs are all new, but the trim, details and original wood is all old as can be. Even the inside has great notched detailing for adjusting those shelves. The drawers are completely reinforced and have new bottoms.
 She's been trimmed, nipped, and tucked and is ready for a new home.
We are a little sad to see this one go!
But man, look at her beauty.

Dimensions 42 in. wide x19 in. deep

I wish I had a place for her in my home... I would keep her in a second.

Anyway, that's what we have for now! But, make sure and check back soon for our latest transformation!
Here is a little SNEEK PEEK at what
White Place Interiors

Yeah, we do that to!

{What's In a Name?}

Tuesday, February 7, 2012
When we started this whole venture we had one thing in common...
{Me (Annalee), Karen (Our Mom), and Melinda (Sister)}

We LOVE all things WHITE.. and Vintage.
(Ok, so maybe we had 2 things in common!)

After talking about doing this kind of thing for a long time we realized that the only thing holding us back was ourselves. It was then that we decided to just jump in, with both feet, and just do it.
It really has been a big dream of ours for such a long time.

One of the first things we had to do was find our name.

After lots of good ideas, and probably more bad ones, someone said "The White Place."

All of a sudden there was a quiet moment between all three of us. You see, the term "White Place" has always been in our families vocabulary. Here is a little history... Both my parents are from a small area in South East Idaho called "Teton Valley." (Now most people know it as Driggs or Victor.) Anyway, they both grew up there, with their own parents also growing up there as well. My Grandpa (My dad's father Duane Kunz) owned a beautiful piece of property on the river right in the middle of this valley. On it, years ago, used to be a Homestead, and the former owner's last name was White. My grandpa always referred to that ground as "The White Place." The tradition was handed down and ever since that area has been called "The White Place."

I remember being young and going there with my grandpa, my dad, and lots of cousins to "doctor cows," check on cows, float in the river, and a little fishing (I don't remember catching anything!). I even remember one time me and my cousins thought it would be fun to go swimming in the giant mud hole... in our clothes. Afterwards we just dunked ourselves in the river and walked back to Grandpa's house, although our parents didn't think it was a very good idea, I remember my Grandpa smiling at all of us covered in mud.

Anyway, I could go on and on, there was so many great memories of my childhood spent in that Valley.

So with that there was really no discussion. It fit.
And now because of our love affair with all things white and old, we decided our market was going to target just that. We would gather our finds, paint, distress, and bring back to life, then we would sell them at "The White Place," our own little Flea market.

We are still learning, growing, downsizing, expanding, you name it. But we are excited to continue on with this Market. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

And with that, Ill leave you with a little eye candy... most days we get our own inspiration online looking at great rooms like these...
